US Working Days Calculator — How It Works
Counts the number of working days (Monday to Friday) between two dates.
How it works
- Enter a start date and an end date.
- The tool counts every day from the start to the end date (inclusive) and tallies how many of those fall on a weekday (Monday through Friday) versus the total number of days.
Formula
Working days = count of Mon–Fri days between start and end date (inclusive)
Total days = end date − start date + 1
Example
From June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026 (30 total days), there are 22 working days — the rest fall on weekends.
Notes
This calculator counts Saturdays and Sundays as non-working days but does not account for public holidays, which vary by country and region. Subtract any known holidays from the result manually if needed.

FAQ
Is this free?
Yes — the US Working Days Calculator runs entirely in your browser, no sign-up required.
Is this accurate?
The calculator performs the math precisely, but for dates that depend on local rules (holidays, time zone changes, medical estimates), treat the result as a planning guide rather than an official figure.
