Travel Water Intake Calculator — How It Works

Recommends a daily water intake based on body weight and activity level.

How it works

  1. Enter your body weight in kilograms.
  2. Choose your activity level — Low, Moderate, or High.
  3. The tool multiplies your weight by a standard hydration factor (about 33 mL per kg), adjusted up or down for activity level, to suggest a daily water intake in liters and glasses.

Formula

Daily water (L) = Weight (kg) × 0.033 × Activity multiplier
Glasses (250 mL each) = Daily water (L) ÷ 0.25

Example

A 70 kg person at moderate activity would target about 2.3 L/day — roughly 9 glasses.

Notes

This is a general guideline. Actual hydration needs vary with climate, diet (especially water-rich foods), pregnancy or breastfeeding, and health conditions — consult a healthcare provider for personalized advice.
