Student Meeting Time Calculator — How It Works

Converts a local meeting time to another time zone, including any day change.

How it works

  1. Enter the local time of the meeting.
  2. Enter the time difference (in hours) to the other location — negative if that location is behind you, positive if ahead.
  3. The tool adds the offset to your local time and shows the equivalent time in the other location, including whether it falls on the same day, the next day, or the previous day.

Formula

Converted time = Local time + Time difference (hours)

Example

A 9:00 AM meeting with a -9.5 hour time difference (e.g. US East Coast to India) converts to 23:30 (11:30 PM) the previous day in the other location.

Why this matters

Scheduling across time zones is one of the most common sources of missed meetings for remote and international teams. This tool does the arithmetic — including day rollovers — so nobody shows up at the wrong time.

FAQ

Is this free?

Yes — the Student Meeting Time Calculator runs entirely in your browser, no sign-up required.

Is this accurate?

The calculator performs the math precisely, but for dates that depend on local rules (holidays, time zone changes, medical estimates), treat the result as a planning guide rather than an official figure.
